Come And See The V8 Supercar Hot Laps Ride Cars In Action At Oran Park

The V8 Supercar Hot Lap ride day cars can be seen in action during the forthcoming sixth round of the Gulf Western Touring Car Challenge at Oran Park Raceway on the weekend of September 17 & 18.

You will be able to see the V8 Supercar Hot Laps ride day cars in full flight around the 2.7km Oran Park GP circuit throughout the weekend where they will contest a total of three exciting races on Sunday. V8 Supercar Hot Laps Drivers, current Touring Car Challenge series leader Terry Wyhoon (ex Crag Lowndes AU Falcon), Peter Vicary (ex Dick Johnson EL Falcon) and Matthew Hunt (ex Terry Finnigan VS Commodore) are all primed for battle as they hunt for victory.

“This is the perfect opportunity to see the cars that you have a chance to ride in pushed to their limits,” explained Peter Vicary, who currently sits fifth outright in the Touring Car Challenge series. “It could also be the chance to surprise your loved one by bringing them down to the track and showing them the cars they can ride in. They can even decide which car they would like to ride in based on the performance of the cars at Oran Park.”

Peter continued on by saying that everyone that is considering the ride of a life time with the V8 Supercar Hot Lap ride days are welcomed to come down to the pits and check out the cars close up.

“Everyone is more than welcomed to come down and ask questions, sit in the car and meet our drivers,” he said. “We aim to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible when they’re making their discussion and bookings can be made on the weekend of September 17 & 18 at Oran Park.”

Currently the response has been encouraging the for the first V8 Supercar Hot Lap ride days, which will commence on Sunday, November 6 at Oran Park Raceway.

“I have been very impressed with the feedback we have had since launching V8 Supercar Hot Laps ride days in early August and it looks set to soar,” commented Vicary. “I think of the most appealing aspect with our ride days is that you get the chance to ride in real fully prepared race cars, that actually still compete frequently around Australian tracks.”
