Shannons Nationals Appoints New Communications Manager

Shannons Nationals is pleased to announce the appointment of Erin Ponton of Media & Communication Services (MCS) to the role of Communications Manager for the 2010 Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championship season.

In addition to handling all general media enquiries on a daily basis, Erin will be the on site contact at each round and will also oversee media accreditation and the preparation and distribution of race results.

Erin will be supported in her role by MCS Managing Director, David Segal.

About the Shannons Nationals
The Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championships was formed in 2006 as a partnership between racing categories, circuit promoters and the Confederation of Australian Motorsport (CAMS).

Providing a regular and stable home for a wide variety of national-level motor racing categories, the Shannons Nationals combines a mixture of open-wheel, touring car and sports car racing.

Events deliver value-for-money entertainment for motorsport fans, with non-stop quality racing and affordable admission prices.

In 2010, the championships will consist of nine rounds across five states of Australia, visiting eight different circuits.
